The capital oblast created 1091 polling stations on election of deputies of local Councils of XXVI convocation.

The First Deputy Head of Organizational and Personnel Activity General Directorate of the Oblast Executive Committee Julia Askerko.

14 polling stations will be located In military units, 39 - in sanatoria, hospitals, rest homes and dispensaries. The most stations will be in large regions: Borisov (112), Minsk (85), Molodechno (77), Slutsk (74), Soligorsk (67), less - in Zhodino town (23), Uzda (26) and Starye Dorogi (28) regions.

Julia Askerko noted that the next stage of the election campaign is formation of the election commissions (their number will be equal to the number of polling stations). This process to be completed until 10 March. On 7 March the interested persons can apply for participation in the commissions.

In general, 60 deputies of the oblast Council, 796 deputies of regional and Zhodino town Councils, 3.400 deputies of the first level Councils (rural and settlement Councils) will be elected during the elections, that will be on 25 April more

Under the decision of Minsk Oblast Executive Committee «On measures to implement the orders of the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Belarus, November, 6 2009 № 1450», December, 1 2009 № 518р, the Economy Committee of Minsk Oblast Executive Committee receives offers from legal entities and individuals to attract investment in Minsk Oblast, which could be refined, in the future, with mutual interest of the parties, to conclude an investment agreement.
