The First Deputy Chairman of the Economy Committee of the Oblast Executive Committee Vita Tsivilskaya – BelTA.
It contains introduction of quality management system ISO 9001 at 128 organizations of oblast communal ownership and non-agency ownership, quality management systems and safety of food products HACCP at 22 organizations, environmental management systems ISO 14001 at 11 organizations.
In addition, efforts will be focused on improving the quality of both the finished product and raw materials, expansion of the assortment, improving their appearance, performing procedures for deliveries to foreign markets, participation in international and national exhibitions-fairs, etc.
It is also scheduled to hold «the Quality Days» every month at enterprises, as well as the relative workshops, competition of professional skills. Manufacturers of the oblast will take part in the competition for the award of the Government of Belarus for quality achievements.
Vita Tsivilskaya noted that «the Quality Program», which has been implemented since 2007, covers all sectors of the economy - industry, trade, agriculture, services. «In the Year of Quality special attention will be paid to people, staff competence, labour motivation» - she added.
